About this Project

"Equality is the soul of liberty; there is, in fact, no liberty without it." - Frances Wright

In this themed shoot, I aimed to capture the essence of five significant challenges encountered by individuals who face social exclusion or victimization due to their beliefs or experiences in many places of the world.

Through the use of colored and black-and-white imagery, I sought to portray their public and private personas. The colored images represent how they present themselves to the world, while the black-and-white photographs reveal their true selves in moments of solitude.

By shedding light on these experiences, my goal is to emphasize the importance of equality as the foundation of true liberty for all.
