About the Company
Studio Siyaahi is a fashion label founded by Poonam Sanghani and Rohit Dubey in 2010, which has grown from a workshop in Kudasan, Gandhinagar to a store in Iscon Mega Mall, Ahmedabad, to a newly opened store at Off C.G. Road in 2017. The label's designs reflect a modern approach while staying true to heritage, incorporating a collaboration between designers and artisans to create a fusion of traditional crafts and modern techniques. The wide collection of apparel includes classic sarees, anarkalis, and lehenga cholis, as well as indo-western gowns, shrugs, crop tops, jackets, draped skirts, capes, palazzos, and jumpsuits. The label's vision is to revive and sustain traditional Indian crafts and textiles.
My Role
In my role as a Graphic Designer at Studio Siyaahi in Ahmedabad, India, from August 2021 to February 2022, I collaborated with the design team to enhance the brand's online presence. I played a key role in developing marketing materials, particularly social media graphics, to maintain brand consistency across various platforms. Working closely with cross-functional teams, I applied user-centered design principles and paid meticulous attention to detail, aligning all design assets with the company's brand guidelines. My responsibilities also included effectively communicating product visions and design decisions to both internal teams and clients, contributing to the overall visual appeal and quality of Studio Siyaahi design assets.
