Project Overview

The Ayurveda Project promotes a 3000-year-old Indian wellness science that balances the body based on body type, health, and weather conditions. Ayurveda categorizes body types into Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, each with unique characteristics and has proven efficacy in treating ailments. However, limited availability of Ayurvedic medicines and concerns about quality control exist. The project aims to create an app that raises awareness, provides Ayurvedic recipes, and connects users with practitioners to bridge the gap between Ayurveda and modern lifestyle for a healthier tomorrow.

Goal

Empower individuals to embrace a healthier lifestyle through Ayurveda by creating awareness and accessibility to its principles, remedies, and practitioners.

Objectives

  • App Development: Create a user-friendly app to spread awareness about Ayurveda, offering insights into body types, dietary recommendations, and natural remedies.

  • Recipe Repository: Develop a platform within the app that educates users on Ayurvedic foods, their benefits, and provides recipes, aiding in easy adoption of Ayurvedic dietary practices.

  • Practitioner Connect: Facilitate connections between users and Ayurvedic practitioners through the app, offering guidance on product understanding, proportions, and personalized health approaches.

Hypothesis

Creating an app that creates awareness and helps people find the recipes of Ayurvedic foods, what that particular food would be beneficial and where they could find the ingredients of that particular recipe.

The app will also help people find practitioners to help the person using it to understand the product and its proportions better.
